28/07/10 Britain at risk of summer drought, the hosepipe is dead
Across the UK it has been the second-driest first six months for a century.
*Millions of homes in northwest England face a hosepipe ban as water bosses struggle to save water as a drought takes hold. Nearly 7 million people will be affected by the ban; those caught ignoring the ban may face fines of up to £1,000.
Customers have been told they can still water their gardens with a watering can and wash their vehicles using a bucket and sponge. These methods typically use a fraction of the amount of water from a hosepipe or sprinkler.
The use of watering cans and buckets certainly helps to reduce water usage but water usage and efficiency can be improved further by using a Mobi Washer to wash your vehicle or water your plants. Mobi has made a big impact on the cycle and auto industry over the last year with their V-17 fully portable washer. Now, with hosepipe bans looming, there simply could not be a better time to use your Mobi not only to wash your vehicle but as a watering system around your home and garden.

19/01/10 Martyn Ashton likes to keep clean on tour
We caught Martyn Ashton on camera, washing his van at the Raleigh Dealer Show.
Mountain Bike Trials legend and long-standing Animal team rider, Martyn Ashton, has been the figurehead of the Animal Relentless Bike Tour since its inception in 2002, and his dedication to the tour has seen it jump from strength to strength each year.
Martyn established his calibre in the Trials discipline (about balance & skill) on a mountain bike claiming a World Champion ship title and becoming four-times British Champion and has since become one of the UK’s best-known and best-loved mountain bike personalities.
Martyn’s balance on a bike is second-to-none and his technically awe-inspiring performances wow the crowds on the streets, and likewise at MTB gatherings still.
Now heading up Team Ashton Diamondback Martyn is committed to supporting up and coming talent and has a busy calendar of bike tour demos and media appearances (including Blue Peter among many).

30/11/09 Mobi at the French Masters National Cyclocross Championship
Mobi were on hand this weekend at the French Masters National Cyclocross Championship held in Miramas.
Sunday the 29th November saw the Fédération Française de Cyclisme national championships held in this historical venue with the chateau of Miramas over looking the site. It was the 1st time that this national event was held in Miramas. The weather switched on Saturday night from a beautiful Autumn day to become winter in 24 hours. The pouring rain, wind and cold did not seem to have any effect on the riders.
• Ludovic Dubau of Reims racing in the 30 – 39 years category won the men’s event
• Karine Saysset was the 1st lady across the line
This was also Mobi washers 1st outing in France. We could not have chosen a better occasion to demonstrate the qualities of both the V-15 and V-17 pressure washers.

Buckhurst Ltd, owners of the Mobi brand today announced that they have signed an exclusive agreement with the UK cycle giant, Raleigh UK Ltd. The partnership will increase the availability of the Mobi range of products for retail partners throughout the UK.
Since hitting the UK market back in March of this year, the Mobi brand has grown at a phenomenal rate within the cycle industry.

12/10/09 Mobi at UK Cycling Events New Forest 100 Sportive
Mobi cleaning up after the event
The New Forest 100 Sportive in Brockenhurst was a huge success for UK Cycling Events, the event sold out with 500 competitors taking part and whilst overcast, the rain held for most of the day.
The Mobi V-17’s were a huge hit and most competitors took time out at the end of the event to give their bikes a thorough clean before heading home.

The Mobi team had a fantastic morning at Goodwood Breakfast Club – Maserati Magnifica and Italian Supercars.
This was the first time Mobi had been a part of the breakfast event and the Mobi team were on hand to demonstrate the Mobi Washers and explain the great benefits of using a Mobi to wash your car over a conventional pressure washer.

UK Cycling Events specialises in running road sportives and off road MTB events. Each event has a choice of 3 distances, giving novices and experienced riders the opportunity to sample the best, most picturesque and challenging road and off-road riding in the UK.
The Mobi team will be on hand for all competitors after the events and all competitors will be able to use a Mobi V-17 to clean their bike down.

The team at Muc-Off are just back from a sensational trip to Bugatti with their Mobi V-17’s after a personal invitation to visit the HQ.
Veyron owners travelled from far and wide to meet at the Bugatti head quarters in Alsace, France. The multi million pound line up of cars was a spectacular site and the Muc-Off team were on hand to keep the incredible line up sparkling clean.

With the weather well and truly on our side this weekend we managed to complete the filming of both our equestrian and cycling testimonial videos for the new website.
The days filming got off to a cracking start with everyone arriving at the film location on time. Our only concern now was how the horses would react to the Mobi washer. We had it on good authority that the washers would cause no concern with the animal but with a skittish part Arab to clean we were all some what dubious.
Quite soon though, all our fears were put to bed as both the horses enjoyed having a wash in the hot summer sun. Neither horse seemed too fussed by the blue washer and both simply loved the attention and cooling wash in the hot summer sun.
